Thought it was time for a new journal.

But, for the randomness. It really sucks when you think you did really well on a test, but then you get it back and you sucked. >.< But, by the same token, it's pretty awesome when you don't study for a test and feel like you totally bombed it but then get it back and find out you aced it. : D

Life is so complicated. O_o

I got a college recommendation letter in the mail today. O_o

I'm only a sophomore in high school, but still. It makes me think about how close college is, and although it's not one of my favorite things now, I know I'm going to miss high school like crazy when I move on to college, and as stressful as all the "high school" crap is now, I know I'm going to miss it like crazy (well, the good parts). And thinking about leaving all my friends again makes me kinda sad. That's exactly how it was when I graduated form eighth grade. I'm just the kind of person who hates change. Even if some big change I go through is for the better in the end, I'm always miserable in the beginning. Or maybe I'm just over-thinking things, which I always do, haha.

On a lighter note, the weather is so nice right now. It's about 60 degrees and I went to school with a t-shirt and no coat!! The weather has got me in a constant good mood, too. I've got spring-fever in February, haha. It makes school horrible, though, because all I want to do is go outside.

I'm all about snow at Christmas time and all, but seriously. 35 below zero? It's ridiculous. The snow is completely frozen outside, which makes shoveling SO much fun. Plus, our snow blower thingy we just got is broken. Perfect timing, right? Gotta love the Chicago winters. Oh well. It's still the holiday time, so I'm pretty happy anyways. Happy Holidays!

I'm on Thanksgiving break!
